The ink supply plays a crucial role in the performance, speed and reliability of an inkjet system. Our ink supplies are designed to be ideally suited for use in both non-recirculating and recirculating systems. They are scalable and include functionality to maintain the ink temperature at an optimum level, precisely control the meniscus pressure, control the fluid level, and filter and degas the ink.
The ink supply system is implemented in a 2-tier design and contains interfaces to the external ink containers. The system continuously monitors the remaining ink quantity and alerts when the container needs to be changed.
In addition, we have implemented a security function that ensures only certified ink is used.
